Holding Hands

A set of books based on seminal essays by Beatrice Warde, Dan Friedman, and El Lissitzky. The books were designed to show the different typographic ideas that each author advocated. Images of RISD student work were used as examples of how graphic design students can either adhere to, reject, or be willing to re-interpret these various typographic precedents.
